The Common App Is Live for 2019 Applications!

For those students applying to college this fall it's time to put your colleges into the Common App and see what additional questions await. Many colleges don't have a formal supplemental section, and students often get fooled into thinking this means no additional essays. This is seldom the case, most schools tag on at least one question requiring a 250 word response. The most common of these is some variation of "Why this school?"  This question requires a student to really research the school and come up with specific reasons, such as the research a particular professor is doing. So although the response is relatively short, these questions take a bit of time. So plan accordingly!
